1. Nothing. When you re-read text in a dream it tends to be slightly different each time.

How do I get out of the square pit?

1. There is a relevant detail on the north wall.
2. Think about what you can do with the fox eye.

Are the walls really closing in on me in the square pit?

1. No. You can stay there as long as you want.

How do I progress from the junk tunnel?

1. Look back at the opening. It is further away than you think.
2. Look at the distance you've covered! Maybe you move without moving.

How do I get out from deep inside the junk tunnel?

1. Look in your mirror. That's not what they expected to find in their child's room.
2. You are still dreaming. You'll have to go on.

How do I escape from my parents?

1. There's a suitable window that just happens to be open that lets you out of your room, at least.
2. Then you don't have much choice except continuing into the forest.

How do I escape from the terrifying child?

1. Go any direction.
2. NORTH.

The game has ended, but it suggests it could have ended differently. How?

1. The game ends because you are still stuck in the dream, except now you are the fox, possibly about to face an unpleasant fate.
2. You'll have to restart to get out of the dream.
3. There were hints about being too late.
4. If you were really perceptive early on, you may even have picked up which action took too long.

6. When on the luxury mansion porch: LISTEN. LISTEN TO MUSIC.
7. The problem is reading the letter, because reading in dreams is difficult and takes time.

Okay, I didn't do the slow thing. How do I get out of the old foundation now?

Ugh. I end up in the shack with the fox again. I cannot think of anything I can do differently.

1. No, there is one thing you can do.

The game just crashed! Did I ask it to do that?

1. No. I've once had it crash shortly after I issued the RESTART command. Some garbled output preceded the crash. I don't know what happened!
